All our recovery drivers hold category B+E entitlement, permitting commercial towing of car and trailer combinations up to 3,500kg MAM — the standard required by our insurers and covering the vast majority of touring caravans and boat trailers.
C1+E Licensed Drivers
Two of our team hold category C1+E entitlement, allowing us to legally tow with vehicles up to 7,500kg plus trailer. This extends our capability to larger horseboxes, heavy twin-axle commercial trailers, and combined rigs over 3.5 tonnes where required.
C+E (Class 1 HGV)
Our lead recovery operator holds full category C+E (Class 1 HGV) entitlement — the highest DVLA licence category. This means no recovery scenario is beyond our legal towing capability, including articulated trailers and heavy plant.
